Welcome to Epiphany Designs, where creativity, craftsmanship, and a love of discovery come together.
We’re Kent and Darlene, a husband-and-wife team who share a passion for creating distinctive, handcrafted leather bags and accessories.
What began as a simple desire to spend more time together grew into a creative journey we never expected.
How It All Began
We’ve always enjoyed creating things with our hands, from macramé and jewelry to clothing, quilting, and sewing.
After completing college, Darlene began exploring quilting before discovering her passion for making handbags. Her desire to tackle increasingly challenging projects eventually led her into leatherworking.
Kent soon joined her in the workshop, discovering his own passion for traditional hand-stitched leatherwork.
What started as a way to spend more time together became something much more: a shared creative adventure.
Two Artisans, One Passion
Although we share a workshop, we each bring our own creative approach to leatherworking.
Darlene specializes in intricately constructed handbags, combining beautiful leathers, carefully selected fabrics, and thoughtfully designed interiors.
Kent enjoys the patience and precision of traditional hand-stitching, often incorporating his own creative touches into carefully selected patterns.
Together, we celebrate craftsmanship in all its forms, believing that exceptional quality comes from skill, patience, and attention to detail.
Inspired by Creativity
At Epiphany Designs, we believe meaningful creations begin with inspiration.
Sometimes that inspiration comes from a beautiful piece of leather. Other times, it’s an unexpected combination of colors, textures, or fabrics.
Rather than mass-producing identical products, we enjoy creating individually handcrafted pieces that reflect our creativity and personal style.
Our greatest joy comes when someone discovers one of our creations and feels that it was made just for them.
We don’t believe every bag needs to appeal to everyone. We believe the right bag will speak to the right person.

The name Epiphany Designs reflects those meaningful moments of discovery, understanding, and inspiration that have shaped our lives and faith.
